The Senate candidates will share a ticket with candidates for president in a state that is critical to whether Democrats can maintain control of the White House and the Senate.

Born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Senator Casey graduated from The College of the Holy Cross in 1982, and spent the following year teaching fifth grade and coaching eighth grade basketball in inner city Philadelphia for the Jesuit Volunteer Corps.  He received his law degree from Catholic University in 1988, and entered the practice of law in Scranton.

McCormick received his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and his Ph.D. in international affairs from Princeton University. His professional experience includes working as the CEO of Bridgewater Associates, and under secretary in both the Department of Commerce and Department of the Treasury.

Eugene DePasquale

Eugene is a lifetime Democrat and principled leader who earned a reputation as a transparent, independent watchdog of the taxpayer’s money. Born and raised in the blue-collar city of Pittsburgh, Eugene knows the value of hard work, putting himself through law school at night.

Dave Sunday

Dave Sunday served in the U.S. Navy. He earned an undergraduate degree in finance from Penn State University in 2002 and a J.D. from Widener Law School in 2007. Sunday's career experience includes working as an attorney, specifically as a prosecutor with the York County District Attorney’s Office.

Ashley Ehasz

Ashley Ehasz grew up in southeastern Pennsylvania. Ehasz served in the U.S. Army, where she became an Apache helicopter pilot. Ehasz earned a degree from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and a master's degree from the University of Oxford.

Brian Fitzpatrick

Fitzpatrick earned his J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law and his bachelor's from Penn State University. Fitzpatrick was first elected to represent the 8th Congressional District in 2016, replacing his older brother Michael G. Fitzpatrick (R).

William Petulla

William Petulla was born in Oil City, Pennsylvania. Petulla's career experience includes working as a deputy district attorney. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas in 1997 and a law degree from the Washburn University School of Law in 2001.

Jeremey Shaffer

Jeremy Shaffer earned a B.S. in engineering from Tulane University in 1999, a master's degree and Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2006, and an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina.

Born in Fairbanks, Alaska, Janelle grew up in the Seattle area, the oldest of 4 sisters. In 1997, Janelle joined Central Pennsylvania’s biggest station, WGAL-TV 8, as News Anchor where she was repeatedly named “Best News Anchor.”

Perry was born in San Diego, California. He graduated from Advanced Individual Training and United States Army War College. He then received his B.S. in business administration management from Pennsylvania State University in 1991

As a first-generation American born in Erie, Pennsylvania, Preston began working as a teenager to help support his family's small business. After graduation from Fairview High School, Preston attended the University of Pittsburgh and worked serving tables and in other jobs while pursuing a career in public service.

Mike Kelly

Kelly (Republican Party) is running for re-election to the U.S. House to represent Pennsylvania's 16th Congressional District.

Susan Wild

Wild is the first woman to represent the Lehigh Valley in Congress. Prior to joining Congress, Wild was the solicitor of Allentown, Pennsylvania, from 2015 to 2017. She was also a partner with the firm Gross McGinley specializing in litigation, medical malpractice, and municipal law.

Ryan Mackenzie graduated from Parkland High School in 2000. Mackenzie earned a B.S. in finance and international business from New York University in 2004 and an M.B.A. from Harvard University in 2010.

Matt Cartwright

Cartwright graduated from Hamilton College in 1983, and then he earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Congress, he worked as a lawyer with the firm Munley, Munley & Cartwright for 25 years.

Rob Bresnahan Jr. was born in Kingston, Pennsylvania. His career experience includes working as the chief financial officer and CEO of a family business, an electrical contracting company.

Chris Deluzio

Christopher Deluzio was born in Thornburg, Pennsylvania. Deluzio served in the U.S. Navy. He earned a bachelor's degree from the United States Naval Academy and earned a law degree from Georgetown University.

Rob Mercuri graduated from Deer Lakes High School. Mercuri served in the United States Army from 2000 to 2009 and reached the rank of captain.
